I miss my old school. I have so many fond memories and I made many friends during my time there in the 1970's.

Peter Christmas, my brother, was a House Father at Warnham Court School in the 1970s 80s before he retired on health grounds. Sadly he died from Co-vid earlier this year but he often spoke of his time at Warnham Court. Some of you may remember him.

I remember fondly driving to the forecourt of a lovely old house. I was greeted by a member of staff and met the headmaster. I had a film about looking after your teeth and large model of a set of teeth and an enormous toothbrush which the children could use to brush the teeth. I remember the delicious school dinner. I hope the children were able to be aware of looking after their teeth. The grounds were lovely and I appreciated that children from London as I was would love the clean air and the freedom to play in the countryside.

I was one of the first pupils at Warnham Court transferred from Swanley. I was there from 1952 to 1953. Remember my time there with fondest memories.
Was Mary in the Christmas Nativity also when I was unable to go home at Easter, think I had chicken pox, looked after Miss Smith's cat. Phillipa and Irene were in the same dormitory as me.

Because of my asthma and living in Hackney, London, I went to WCS, I believe, 1955/56 when I was 7 years old. Prior to that I was at Wainright School in Broadstairs. I remember nothing of both schools except for throwing sticks in some woods that resulted in a head wound for some poor kid and being in hospital with a lump on my neck. I can also remember waiting for Mum and Dad to visit when there was snow on the ground. That's it, the sole memory of my early days.

I was at the school 1957-59. Fond memories now but did not appreciate it at the time. Yes remember Mr & Mrs Savage (Ernest & Margaret.) I was in Wren, Linnet & Thrush dorms. Still in touch with Tony Moore & Dan Levy also Leila Cini as she lives in Tassie, I'm in Brisbane so just down the road to see her.
